The question says it all.
- Sep 03, 2014 So I got my new MacBook Air, I downloaded everything I need for school but I was looking for something to pass the time. I heard that Sims 4 was out so I decided to get it. Before I buy and download it, would it slow anything down on my new computer or put anything on it that is bad for the computer or could slow it down?
- I have a Surface Pro 6 (?), here's the specs or whatever. I'm wondering if this can run the Sims 4 and expansions smoothly and without messing up/slowing down my laptop. I'm not at all technically adept to figure it out myself, so any help would be appreciated.
So I did a proper SMC reset, after I charged my battery to 100% with the original charger, and followed Apple's instructions exactly, on the link above. Please note that your late 2013 MacBook Pro does NOT have a removable battery. So far my MBP (mid 2014 retina 15') hasn't gone into deep sleep spontaneously. Sims 4 should run ok, it is native to OS X, but bear in mind MacBook Airs are not very powerful, especially when it comes to gaming. The more packs you add to your game the slower your game performance may become. Make sure your in game graphics options are set to low/medium. Yes it works fine, no it doesn't slow down your Macbook. Games only cause performance issues while they're running, if you close the game down then nothing is running for it to slow anything down.
Can you use apple keyboard for pc. What is a good music editing software. I've not played sims 4, but going off my knowledge of previous games, it should just be a simple matter of mousing over the stairs/somewhere on the second floor and telling them to go there. If they're not going up, something must be in the way and preventing them from doing so.
Just click on the floor option on the left to go up and select something upstairs to do. It's the same as any other pc or Mac sims game

- How to make a MacBook Pro go right? Sometimes the screen will vanish. Typing skips, most times to the above sentence. And sometimes the website won't show. Can someone please help me fix this?
- Will the Sims 4 slow down my MacBook Air? I just bought the MacBook Air (2018 model) for college for the next 5 years. But I wanted to download The Sims 4 for my downtime. Should I not do this since it's not a gaming laptop? Will it slow down my computer and make it not worth it?
- How do I make it so that Skype doesn't automatically open when I start up my Macbook Air? - 1 When I start my laptop, Skype just opens. How do I change the settings to prevent this? (I still want Skype to be active, but I don't want it to pop up on my screen as soon as I turn on my laptop). I have tried going to Skypes 'Setting' then 'General', but the only options I can find are: 'Upon closing, keep Skype running' & 'Share location with Bing.'
